Horizontal Alignment I: Stations and Stationing
The purpose of this lesson is to provide an overview of stationing and station equations and how they are used in roadway design. Prerequisite: Understanding Typical Sections

Horizontal Alignment II: Bearings and Curves
The purpose of this lesson is to provide an overview of design elements and how they are represented in the horizontal alignment.  Prerequisite: Horizontal Alignment I: Stations and Stationing

Horizontal Alignment III: Design Components
The purpose of this lesson is to provide an overview of the design controls and considerations associated with horizontal alignment.  Prerequisite: Horizontal Alignment II: Bearings and Curves

Horizontal Alignment IV: Balancing Design Constraints
The purpose of this lesson is to provide an overview of how constraints and sight distance impact horizontal alignment design. Prerequisite: Horizontal Alignment III: Design Components

Horizontal Alignment V: Design and Placement
The purpose of this lesson is to provide an overview of the design and placement of horizontal alignment. Prerequisite: Horizontal Alignment IV: Balancing Design Constraints

Superelevation I: Introduction
The purpose of this lesson is to provide an introduction to superelevation. Prerequisite: Horizontal Alignment V: Design and Placement

Superelevation II: Applications
The purpose of this lesson is to provide an overview of the application of superelevation and how it is depicted in the construction plans. Prerequisite: Superelevation I: Introduction
 
Geometric Design courses are 100% online and will be available from July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023. 
Courses can be completed at your own pace until June 30, 2022.

Cancellations: The college reserves the right to cancel classes with insufficient enrollment; payment is then automatically refunded. If we have to cancel your class, you can request a full refund of your tuition or transfer to another course of your choice, space permitting.

Refund Policy: (Also applies to purchase orders) Full refunds will be given to any student/company canceling within the required timeframe set for each class. For specific timeframe please check the class description and/or your registration confirmation email. Student and/or companies will incur all charges with no refund if student does not drop the course within the required timeframe.
