Vertical Alignment I: Design Process
The purpose of this lesson is to provide an overview of the design process and features that affect design decisions. Prerequisite: Sight Distance

Vertical Alignment II: Balancing Design Constraints
The purpose of this lesson is to provide an overview of how constraints are balanced during the vertical alignment design process. Prerequisite: Vertical Alignment I: Design Process

Vertical Alignment III: Profiles and Control Features
The purpose of this lesson is to provide an overview of how physical controls are accommodated during the vertical alignment design process. Prerequisite: Vertical Alignment II: Balancing Design Constraints

Vertical Alignment IV: Sight Distance
The purpose of this lesson is to provide an overview of how sight distance impacts the vertical alignment design process. Prerequisite: Vertical Alignment III: Profiles and Control Features
 
Geometric Design courses are 100% online and will be available from July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023. 
Courses can be completed at your own pace until June 30, 2022.
