Our Truck Driving programs are a customized series of courses that meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements. We are currently offering Class A and Class B courses.
The Class A license is considered the “universal” CDL, providing the opportunities for driving several different types of commercial trucks and tractor trailers weighing over 10,000 pounds.
The Class B license provides opportunities for driving several different types of commercial trucks and tractor trailers weighing under 10,000 pounds.
In order to obtain a CDL, you must complete the Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) Theory course as well as Behind the Wheel training from an approved training provider as mandated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Our Theory course is 100% online and allows you to work at your own pace. Once Theory is complete and you finish your required prerequisites, you can register for our Behind the Wheel course. Please see below for a full list of prerequisites. During your Behind the Wheel training, you will learn how to maneuver our Class A/Class B vehicles in confined spaces, including backing skills on our driving range. Once you are proficient, you will move on to Road training and finish the course with testing at the DMV if deemed proficient.
