The Basic Rider Course provides motorcycle safety and operational skills taught through a 5-hr online training program and on-cycle by MMSC-certified instructors. This course is for individuals looking to earn their motorcycle endorsement and learn essential motorcycle control skills.

Completion of the 5-hour e-Course is REQUIRED prior to attending class. Refer to Course Description for details. Upon registration, you'll receive a confirmation email with instructions to complete the e-Course. Check your spam/junk folder. If you don't receive it, call 507-433-0573
Adults (18+) MUST have a valid Motorcycle Permit and Vehicle Driver's License prior to class to earn your motorcycle endorsement.
Minors (16-17) must have a valid Vehicle Driver's License AND bring a parent or guardian to sign the required waiver form in front of a rider coach before class (or have it notarized).
Intermediate Rider Course Description: The Intermediate Rider Course provides a skills refresher for newer motorcyclists, returning riders, and experienced motorcyclists who have their own motorcycle or scooter. Participants will build upon their existing skills, including control, finesse, counter steering, cornering, swerving and braking.
