Continuing education provides open enrollment courses, online or classroom-based, in areas of personal enrichment, professional development, workforce, marketing and sales courses and also many self-study courses.
EKG Technician
Saint Paul College EKG Technician trainings are 12 total course hours. We are partnered with National Health Career Association and our trainings meet NHA requirements to place for the Certified EKG Technician exam (CET).
Students will be granted access to online content and study materials provided through NHA. You will receive instructions to create an account with NHA about 10-business days before your in-person course start date. There is roughly 8 hours of online content you must complete before attending your skills/practical training.
Practical training is on campus, with training dates provided for each course below. Practical training consists of 4-hours with required 10 EKG placements on a live actor. Students must be able to successfully complete all 10 placements to pass the training and qualify for the NHA CET exam and to pass the training. Cost of first CET examination included in the cost of course registration.
