No other job in the medical field affects more lives than that of a medical biller because everyone involved in the healthcare experience, from the patient and front office staff to providers and payers, relies on you. You are, so to speak, the touchstone in the medical industry. With this responsibility comes great power, and that power must be treated with respect and integrity. This course will give the student a broad overview and practical application necessary to be successful in a medical biller role.

Each student will need to have their own book. It must be new, because it has to have an access code in order to get to the homework. You will need to order it online AND you must have a unique email address for each participant (isbn below). Once you are in the class you will be able to order the book online as it will tie to your class email as your user name. You will use the class email to build your online account. The CONNECT only gives you access to an ebook and the assignments. If you want to have a "hard copy" you will need to order the Connect + Loose-leaf. The cost of the ebook and access is $121.02.
