MN Commercial Vehicle Certification Courses
Safety inspections are required for commercial vehicles and farm vehicles hauling placarded amounts of hazardous materials over 26,000 lbs GVW (gross vehicle weight). Training provided in this class by the Minnesota State Patrol will prepare individuals to become certified as inspectors for trucks (including farm trucks), buses, and other vehicles required to have annual safety inspections.
Provide the following required information when creating the student's/participant's profile:
- Inspector's home address and personal phone number (required by the MN State Patrol as a second point of contact); enter this information on the Student's/Participant's Profile
- Inspector number (if applicable)
- Employer's address and phone number (enter "self employed" if inspecting your own vehicles)
- County in which the inspector performs inspections (enter "out of state" if outside of Minnesota)
