Ophthalmic Associate Certification Test Preparation (COA-A3)

Program Description:
This 12-week course is designed to prepare uncertified ophthalmic assistants to take the certification
exam necessary for the COA certification. The International Joint Commission on
Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (ICAHPO) – formerly known as JCAHPO - has
termed this uncertified-to-COA track as “COA-A3,”


Grant funding is available for employers/businesses that wish to upgrade employee skills in
