This Certified (AAMA) Medical Assistant (CMA) training is designed to prepare students for work in ambulatory care or medical office settings. A medical assistant is a multi-skilled professional with abilities in clinical, laboratory, and secretarial areas. This accredited program includes coursework in communication, anatomy and physiology, medical office, laboratory, and clinical skills. Some clinical experiences can be paid. Completion of this certificate course will help prepare students to take the Medical Assistant, AAMA, Certification test.
