Pine Technical & Community College's Continuing Education department serves as the major regional provider of skill-based, short-term courses.

  • Courses are conveniently offered during the day, evening and on weekends.
  • Courses are open-enrollment and cater to a foreseen need such as new technology.
  • Many courses are designed to meet an occupational licensing or legal requirement.
  • Since class sizes are smaller, students receive more individual attention and learn more.
  • Courses are shorter in duration than college credit classes and are delivered to meet the needs of the participant.

The Minnesota Motorcycle Safety Center rider training program has served Minnesota riders for more than 30 years with affordable, high-quality professional training and education. Instructors are certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and dedicated to building and improving your riding skills.

Important Information for Basic Rider Course Registrants
Completion of the Required Online E-Course
Before attending your in-person class session, you must complete the 5-hour online E-Course. This is a mandatory prerequisite and must be completed prior to class attendance.
Details can be found in the Course Description or your confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email after registering, please call the office at 320-629-5176.

Motorcycle Permit Requirement
If you are 18 years of age or older, you must have a valid Motorcycle Permit before the class in order to earn your motorcycle endorsement.
