ON-LINE NDT TRAINING THROUGH RIDGEWATER COLLEGE IS NOW AVAILABLE
Ridgewater College is proud to announce that on-line training is now available for individuals wishing to either start or further a career in non-destructive testing (NDT). These are non-credit, non-degree courses that will provide the individual with the theoretical knowledge of various methods of NDT and will prepare them to then complete hands-on practical training and then written testing through their employer.
Ridgewater College’s on-line courses will supply the theoretical training element for each NDT method chosen. Once the individual has completed the online portion of the course and passed the final written exam, they will need to then complete hands-on practical training with their company-appointed instructor, an instructor at Ridgewater College or another approved training facility. In order to be certified, the individual will also be required by their employer to pass the company's general and specific written exam and vision exam.
NOTE: Once the theory and practical portions of training have been completed, a final certification examination must be administered by an NDT Level III in the applicable method who has been approved by the employer.
