Prior to Registration, you must take the Phlebotomy Pretest which is available in the testing center at no charge.
PASSING SCORES: Classic Test 56 or Higher / Next Gen Test 228 or Higher
You will be required to bring in your documentation that was provided by the Testing Center. We do not have access to your testing records to look up your results for you, documentation is required.
Accuplacer Exam Scheduling Process:     
    1. Be sure to identify yourself as a CTS student looking to take the Phlebotomy pre-test/accuplacer.

The courses offered through Continuing Education and Customized Training are not Financial Aid eligible, however you may seek funding or assistance from an outside source such as a Government Program, Workforce Agency or Employment Center.

This program was not designed to align with any specific licensing standard. Groups such as ASCP, AMT, ACA or other Phlebotomy Technician Certification programs have their own requirements for certification. Please contact them directly to inquire about their specific credentialing requirements.

This Course requires proof of current immunizations in MMR, Hep B, Varicella/Chicken Pox, Tdap (Tetanus-diptheria-pertussis), Seasonal Influenza (current season), TB/Mantoux (current and dated within 90 days prior to registration). You must present documentation for immunizations at the time of registration.

Please present us with a Drivers License or State ID at registration to conduct your background check. * Background Check: Minnesota Law requires that any person who provides services that involve direct contact with patients have a background study conducted by the state. An individual who is disqualified from having direct patient contact as a result of the background study, and whose disqualification is not set aside by the Commissioner of Health, will not be permitted to participate in a clinical placement in a Minnesota licensed health care facility. The college will withdraw any student who is disqualified by the Minnesota Department of Health. The student is responsible for requesting the Commissioner to reconsider the disqualification

The Phlebotomy course for Fall 2023 will be at the Brooklyn Park Campus in the Public Safety /Law Enforcement Building. Please review the course details and your confirmation for the exact times and assigned classroom.
