Inspectors are required to recertify every two years, and the process must be completed before the current certification expires. Once a certification has expired, the inspector is no longer authorized to perform inspections.
If recertification is not successfully completed within six months of the expiration date, the inspector must complete the full certification course again to regain certification.
Northland offers MIP courses in East Grand Forks and Thief River Falls each December and January. If your certification expires outside those months, you can reset your cert date to match our schedule and locations.
If our course dates don’t work for you, explore other training options available in the region.
