If you are seeking CEU’s only, and not wishing to attain the full 30-hour supervision designation, you may skip the 14 hours of online self-paced activity and only register to participate in the four live online ½ day sessions (16 hours total).
The Minnesota Board of Social Work requires that licensing supervisors complete 30 hours of supervision-specific training and earn six supervision-specific continuing education hours each licensing period.
Every licensed social worker is required to complete supervision upon becoming licensed and engaged in social work. The length of supervision depends on a worker's employment status and generally runs at least two years and up to four years with 4-8 hours of supervision per month. These sessions may be used to complete CEU requirements.
