Beginning in 2017, during the summer session, Anoka Ramsey Community College participated as one of the Minnesota State colleges to offer a new summer bridge program, Summer Scholars Academy (SSA). The SSA program assists new entering students who are not ready for college-level coursework. The purpose of SSA is to intervene and to help who has demonstrated academic preparation needs at the higher end of developmental-level. The goal is to support students who need incremental assistance to becoming college ready for the fall. To ensure student success, students must qualify for this program by meeting a specific Accuplacer assessment score ranges.
