Intermediate Motorcycle Rider Course

Intermediate Rider Course
If you are comfortable on your own motorcycle or scooter, the 5-hour Intermediate Rider Course will build upon your existing skills and knowledge. Newer motorcyclists, returning riders and experienced motorcyclists can all benefit from this course. The Intermediate Rider Course covers control, finesse, counter steering, corning, swerving and braking. Make the Intermediate Rider Course an annual tune up for your riding skills.  Passengers may participate for free.


Groups or clubs may purchase an entire Intermediate Rider Course for only $300.  Contact Dawn at 320-629-5184 to register your group.

Participants ride their own motorcycle during the course and must have protective clothing.
Your motorcycle must be street legal, licensed, insured and comply with the equipment requirements outlined in the Minnesota Motorcycle Manual.  You must show proof of insurance to the instructor.
 

This course will be held at the main campus parking lot – look for the White Motorcycle Safety Trailer.

Please read:
You must bring the required protective gear: eye protection, long sleeved shirt/jacket, full-fingered gloves, long pants with no tears or holes, sturdy footwear that covers the ankles, and a D.O.T. approved helmet.  You must also bring a completed Student Waiver form and Covid-19 Waiver form to class with you.  This will be provided in an email that is sent after you have registered for your course.

You must also bring your valid driver's license and motorcycle endorsement or instruction permit, and must show proof of insurance to the instructor.

Class will be held rain or shine.
 

Motorcycle Cancellation/Refund Policy: Pine Technical & Community College reserves the right to cancel a class up to the day prior to the course start date. If a class is canceled within said time period, a full refund will be issued. If you are unable to attend a class you are registered for, a refund will only be issued if notification is given at least 5 business days prior to the start date of the class, unless otherwise specified. Course Cancelation Policy: For students requesting a cancelation, a full refund will be granted 5 working days before the start of a class. No refund will be made after that. A full refund will be given on all classes canceled by the school.
