The purpose of this Train-The-Trainer course is to certify the officers in the operation of a M4/AR15 style rifle and then to certify the officer as an instructor with a M4/AR15 style rifle. (It is recommended that the officers be certified firearms instructors before teaching any firearms class.)
Class will cover:
- Range safety
- Intro to the AR15/M4/M16 style rifle
- Field stripping, assembly, and maintenance
- Function checks
- Marksmanship fundamentals
- Zeroing
