You've finished your nursing assistant training and now you're looking to get certified.
The next step is to take the Nursing Assistant Knowledge and Skills Tests.
The Nursing Assistant Tests measure the preparedness of nursing assistant students to enter the field. To become a Certified Nursing Assistant you'll need to pass both tests.
The Nursing Assistant Tests consists of two exams:
- The Knowledge Test — which can be administered virtually or in-person depending on the testing site.
- The Skills Test — which is administered in-person at a testing site.
See the links below to find dates, times, and locations that meet your needs. Please check back for additional testing dates. There are options to take the knowledge and skills test on the same or different days.
Reminder — you will need to pass both tests to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Minnesota State offers large group testing events. Contact your campus for further details @ 218-855-8118
