Join us for the 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration
Our Beloved Community - Empowering the Dream
January 18-25, 2025
The annual MLK Community Celebration includes activities over multiple days that offer several ways to get involved and honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This event is an opportunity for the community to come together, engage in conversation and share time together while honoring Dr. King’s dream.

We invite you to partner with us by donating items needed for individuals experiencing homelessness at any of our events. This year we are proud to partner with, Project H.E.A.L (Health, Education, Access, Link), and are collecting items to distribute to Lincoln Center, Place of Hope and at Project H.E.A.L.’s free monthly clinics in Long Prairie, Melrose, St. Cloud and Waite Park.
Donation items include: baby wipes, razors, regular sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner, feminine hygiene products, shower shoes/flip flops, hats, gloves, warm socks, hand warmers, blankets/sleeping bags, instant oatmeal, completes, ramen, cereal, microwave meals/mac and cheese, nutritional bars, canned goods, reusable water bottles, etc.

You must register each person individually that wants to attend any of the celebrations.

MLK Family Celebration: Saturday, January 18, 2025, 1-4 pm
Registration required for the Planetarium Shows
Toddlers can sit on laps, but please note that once the show begins and the lights go out, we won't be able to open the door. You don't need to register a toddler who will be sitting on your lap.
