Motorcycle Safety
The Minnesota Motorcycle Safety Center rider training program has served Minnesota riders for more than 30 years with affordable, high-quality professional training and education. Instructors are certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and dedicated to building and improving your riding skills.
ATTENTION Basic Rider Course Registrants:

Completion of the 5-hour e-Course is REQUIRED prior to attending class.
Refer to Course Description for details. Upon registration, you'll receive a confirmation email with instructions to complete the e-Course. Check your spam/junk folder. If you don't receive it, call 507-389-7203. - Adults (18+) MUST have a valid Motorcycle Permit and Vehicle Driver's License prior to class to earn your motorcycle endorsement.
- Minors (16-17) must have a valid Vehicle Driver's License AND bring a parent or guardian to sign the required waiver form in front of a rider coach before class (or have it notarized).
- All students must sign a COVID Liability Waiver to participate, required by MSF.
The Intermediate Rider Course provides a skills refresher for newer motorcyclists, returning riders, and experienced motorcyclists who have their own motorcycle or scooter. Participants will build upon their existing skills, including control, finesse, counter steering, cornering, swerving and braking.
