Fire Instructor I 
Eligible for MBFTE reimbursement (submit your receipt to MBFTE for reimbursement)

Fire Instructor 1 is intended for those people in the fire service and public safety agencies who train other public safety employees. The 32-hour course is open to any public safety discipline to meet NFPA Standard 1041, 2019 edition. 

Course will be mostly online via weekly Zoom meetings with certification testing in person at the conclusion of the course. Time commitment is approximately 3.5 hours per week.

Fire Instructor II 
Eligible for MBFTE reimbursement (submit your receipt to MBFTE for reimbursement)

The Fire Instructor II course is designed to emphasize teaching formalized lessons from materials prepared by the instructor, including relating information from one lesson or class to the next. Areas covered include instructional development, evaluation and testing, program management and training resources.

Cancellations: The college reserves the right to cancel classes with insufficient enrollment; payment is then automatically refunded. If we have to cancel your class, you can request a full refund of your tuition or transfer to another course of your choice, space permitting.

Refund Policy: (Also applies to purchase orders) Full refunds will be given to any student/company canceling within the required timeframe set for each class. For specific timeframe please check the class description and/or your registration confirmation email. Student and/or companies will incur all charges with no refund if student does not drop the course within the required timeframe.
