We are pleased to announce that St. Cloud State University will host the 16th annual Power in Diversity Leadership Conference (PIDC), taking place from January 30 to February 1, 2025 and our theme, Empowering Self, Uplifting Community. This event, in partnership with the Minnesota State Office of Equity and Inclusion, has become a cornerstone of leadership development for students from institutions across the region and beyond.

The Power in Diversity Leadership Conference offers participants an engaging experience, with dynamic keynote speakers, interactive workshops, and activities designed to build leadership skills, enhance career development, and inspire personal growth. Students will also have the chance to explore educational and professional opportunities during the Diversity Job and Internship Fair, where over 120 companies will be represented, as well as the Graduate School Fair, featuring a variety of programs from across the state of Minnesota.

Dress attire:

• Friday, January 31 we suggest professional/business clothing. During the conference students can attend the Diversity Job and Internship Fair and the Graduate School Fair.
• Saturday, February 1 is cultural flare and fun clothing. We encourage to wear traditional or cultural clothing or choose clothing that represents personal style or interests.  For example, maybe a sports fan wants to wear items supporting their favorite sports team.

• Any registrations received January 23rd or later will incur a $25.00 late registration fee.  This includes any on-site registrations.

Cancellations/Refunds

• Fees will be refunded (less a $25 service fee) only if cancellation is received via email (PACE@stcloudstate.edu) by January 22, 2025.
• No refunds will be given after January 22, 2025.  (If you do not attend, a refund will not be provided)
