Prior to Registration, you must take the Phlebotomy Pretest which is available in the testing center at no charge. Call to set up your appointment at either campus #763-488-2590 in Brooklyn Park or #952-995-1547 in Eden Prairie. Your results with a score of 56 or higher or a Waiver Must be presented at the time of registration.
This Course requires proof of current immunizations in MMR, Hep B, Varicella/Chicken Pox, Tdap (Tetanus-diptheria-pertussis), Seasonal Influenza (current season), TB/Mantoux (current and dated within 90 days prior to registration). You must present documentation for immunizations at the time of registration.
Please present us with a Drivers License or State ID at registration to conduct your background check. * Background Check: Minnesota Law requires that any person who provides services that involve direct contact with patients have a background study conducted by the state. An individual who is disqualified from having direct patient contact as a result of the background study, and whose disqualification is not set aside by the Commissioner of Health, will not be permitted to participate in a clinical placement in a Minnesota licensed health care facility. The college will withdraw any student who is disqualified by the Minnesota Department of Health. The student is responsible for requesting the Commissioner to reconsider the disqualification
Our Fall Veterinary Assistant class is now open for registration.
Prerequisite: Students must be at least 17 years of age and take the reading accuplacer with a minimum score of 78 to enroll. To schedule your test or request a waiver call our Testing center at either campus. Eden Prairie # 952-995-1547 or Brooklyn Park # 763-488-2590.
The courses offered through Continuing Education and Customized Training are not Financial Aid eligible, however you may seek funding or assistance from an outside source such as a Government Program, Workforce Agency or Employment Center.

Refund Policy: (Also applies to purchase orders) Full refunds will be given to any student/company canceling 3 business days prior to the first session. Student and/or companies will incur all charges with no refund if student does not drop the course 3 business days prior to the first session.
