Minnesota Commercial Vehicle Inspector Recertification Course

Important: Please make sure your email address is accurate and up to date. All communication regarding this course will be sent via email.

All certified Minnesota Commercial Vehicle Inspectors must be recertified every two years to maintain their certification.

You are not eligible to attend the recertification course if:

Your certification has been expired for more than six months
Your certification is currently under revocation
You have already attended and failed a recertification course

When registering, you are required to provide the following:

Inspector’s home address and personal phone number (Required by the MN State Patrol as a secondary contact method)
Inspector number
Employer’s mailing and physical address, and phone number (If self-employed, enter “self-employed.”)
County where inspections are performed (If outside Minnesota, enter “out of state.”)

A printed parking pass must be placed on the dashboard of your vehicle. This pass is included in your registration materials

This is an in-person course, so please come prepared with the following:

A printed parking pass placed on the dashboard of your vehicle (included in your registration confirmation email)
Your Inspector number
A notebook or preferred method for taking notes
A manual will be provided to you on the day of the class
