Inspectors are required to recertify every two years. Your recertification must be completed before your current certification expires. Once your certification has expired, you are no longer authorized to perform inspections.
If you do not successfully complete a recertification course within six months after your certification expires, you must complete the full certification course again in order to be reinstated.

Required by the Minnesota State Patrol as a secondary contact method.

If inspecting your own vehicles, enter “self‑employed.”
County where inspections are performed
If inspections occur outside Minnesota, enter “out of state.”
